NewNet have chosen ServerHouse over other data centre competitors since 2001 as they are unrivalled on price, commercial terms and service level. ServerHouse has an excellent track record of providing a secure, reliable and flexible service while continuing to innovate and modernise their product to ensure it is competitive and efficient.

NewNet’s key requirements included needing approximately 100 racks with very granular power billing, plus the flexibility to increase or decrease power or racks without penalty and at short notice to enable them to match their expenditure to their usage.

ServerHouse offers a flexible call--off contract with a minimum rack commitment, also new racks can be added with no notice needed and unwanted racks can becancelled with just 30 days’ notice. Furthermore, ServerHouse bills NewNet on a power on usage basis so that the company is never paying for spare or unused capacity.

ServerHouse has been able to facilitate NewNet with both primary and DR sites with dark fibre interconnects, plus Tier II and Tier III facilities with on--net connectivity from SSE, Level3 and Virgin, so that NewNet can maintain high capacity and reliable network links.

Gary Coates, Manager at ServerHouse commented: “This new contract confirms our continued leadership in the data centre market and our dedication to delivering and maintaining unrivalled levels of service, whilst still implementing innovative new systems that our customers can benefit from.”

ServerHouse currently operate four data centres in the South East with plans to develop a new purpose built facility later this year.
