Infortrend EonStor DS G7i Series includes Thin Provisioning

Infortrend thin provisioning technology allows IT managers and data centre administrators to designate virtual storage capacity regardless of data volume physical allocation. As disk space is used only when data writing occurs, flexible and on-demand thin provisioning optimises storage utilisation, simplifies capacity planning and management, and helps reduce data centre power consumption.

Whereas previously thin provisioning licenses had to be purchased separately, Infortrend offers better value and convenience to companies by including licenses as standard on select models.
