Western Digital and Veeam streamline data backup and recovery

Western Digital says that its ActiveScale object storage system is “Veeam Ready” for its Cloud Tier, a new feature part of Veeam Availability Suite 9.5 Update 4. The ActiveScale system provides Veeam enterprise customers with a fast, cost-effective hybrid-cloud backup repository that helps manage the avalanche of data inundating today’s data centers.
