This data will enable Nokia to help operators understand how users are experiencing the network, and inform future network improvement strategy such as increasing coverage and capacity.

Crowdsourced data deliver important source of insight into network performance, offering additional perspective on user experience and network quality based on real-world conditions. Combining this insight with Nokia’s existing analytics solutions and services expertise will help to improve the planning and performance optimization of 5G and LTE networks.

Ari Kynäslahti, Head of Product Management, Mobile Networks at Nokia commented: “Customer experience is increasingly important with the rise of streaming video, mobile gaming, and the advent of new 5G use cases.  Tutela provides a comprehensive set of data and valuable insights to help us benchmark and optimize the Quality of Experience.”

Tom Luke, Vice President at Tutela concluded: “We are thrilled to be entering into this agreement with one of the world’s most recognized telecommunications and IT organizations. By combining Tutela’s crowdsourced data with Nokia’s portfolio of tools for modernizing networks and ensuring quality, we look forward to providing operators with new insights to allow them to measure and improve their end-to-end quality of experience”.
