The collaboration which follows the launch of DigiPlex’s Nordic Connect Platform, linking its main data centres in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, serves to further enhance the cloud connectivity options available to DigiPlex customers. DigiPlex’s Ulven data centre in Oslo is already hosting the first Norwegian deployment of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect, an offering that makes it easy to establish a dedicated networking connection to AWS.

“Our customers’ evolving Cloud strategies are calling for ever faster, more secure and hassle-free access to the widest possible range of leading Cloud providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Alibaba and others,” said DigiPlex CEO Gisle M. Eckhoff. “Through our partnership with Megaport, we are significantly expanding the routes to Cloud that we offer. We have unlocked opportunities for our customers to enable new strategies, including multi-cloud and hybrid cloud, and they can enjoy best of breed solutions and rapid deployment for maximum impact, flexible provisioning, and overall simplified Cloud management.”

“Like DigiPlex, we are committed to delivering best-in-class and flexible solutions,” said Peter Hase, CCO, Megaport. “Our on-demand cloud connectivity solutions enable optimal network strategies while reducing complexity and deployment times. Megaport Cloud Router enables cloud-to-cloud connections that support high performance multi-cloud solutions. This exciting partnership with DigiPlex enables Megaport to support the increasing adoption of cloud services in the Nordics and provides our customers additional data centre optionality.”
